A new opportunity has arisen at our Bourgoin site, within our Industry BU, for a Development Quality Manager.
- FaiveleyTech Bourgoin is a major player in industry in the Isère region, with expertise in the transformation of technical polymers. We develop and produce high-performance global solutions for our partners in the mobility, energy, digital – robotics and hygiene sectors.
YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the QHSE Manager, and working closely with the development team, you will work on development projects to define standards and rules and ensure that they are properly applied.
Your main tasks will be as follows:
- Managing the quality of projects, from acquisition to series launch, and taking part in milestone reviews.
- Ensuring quality planning (APQP) and monitoring deliverables. Check the consistency of quality documents (FMEA, monitoring plan, validation plan).
- Prepare and validate PPAP files with the project team.
- Ensure that customer requirements (CSR) and IATF 16949 standards are taken into account.
- Disseminate quality rules and support teams in the use of tools (FMECA, MSA, SPC, 8D).
- Studying customer standards/specifications and defining the necessary measurement resources.
- Participate in internal and customer audits.
- Act as the quality contact during development and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
- Working cross-functionally with the design office, methods, production and purchasing.
YOUR STRENGTHS
- 5 years’ higher education (technical/engineering)
- Significant experience in quality in an industrial environment (automotive or plastics sectors appreciated).
- Experience of quality tools: APQP, PPAP, AMDEC, MSA, SPC, knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements and customer requirements (CSR).
- Personal qualities: Thanks to your interpersonal and teaching skills, you can easily build lasting relationships with teams and customers. Your ability to analyse and summarise enables you to process complex information efficiently, and your rigour guarantees reliable execution. Autonomous and responsive, you know how to anticipate unforeseen circumstances and meet deadlines.
YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Position to be promoted to permanent contract.
- Executive status with 216-day fixed salary
- Remuneration: According to profile and experience
- Location: Bourgoin-Jallieu (38) and travel to other production sites
