A new opportunity has arisen at our Saint-Claude site, within our Industry BU, for the position of Injection Moulding Setter Technician M/F.

  • A major player in the industrial sector in the Jura region, FaiveleyTech Saint-Claude is an expert in engineering thermoplastic transformation. The site develops and manufactures high-performance global solutions for its partners in the mobility, energy, digital and robotics, and hygiene sectors.

YOUR MISSION

Reporting to the Team Manager, the Injection Moulding Setter Technician is responsible for carrying out production changeover operations through to serial production start-up, while ensuring product conformity and adherence to the production schedule.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Carry out dismantling and assembly of tooling on machines in accordance with procedures
  • Set production equipment and process parameters
  • Perform production start-ups in line with procedures
  • Launch robot programs
  • Restart machines after stoppages
  • Perform first-level maintenance operations
  • Check and analyse data and machine malfunctions, and determine corrective actions
  • Participate in shift handovers and transfer of production instructions
  • Complete start-up approval records and daily inspection reports
  • Contribute to OEE improvement and overall performance optimisation
  • Participate in working groups (continuous improvement, problem-solving, etc.)
  • Ensure effective communication of information (upward, downward, cross-functional, within and between departments)
  • Apply and enforce company rules and procedures related to quality, safety, and environment

YOUR STRENGTHS

With a Bac+2 qualification (e.g. BTS in Plastics Engineering) or equivalent significant professional experience in the plastics industry, you have solid hands-on experience in a production environment.

You possess technical skills in injection moulding, mould mechanics, and thermoplastic materials. Training is provided to support employees in developing and strengthening their skills.

Responsive and detail-oriented, you are recognised for your interpersonal skills, autonomy, and above all, your entrepreneurial mindset.

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Permanent contract (CDI)
  • Weekly working time: 40 hours in an afternoon shift (1:00 pm – 9:00 pm), including 37.5 paid hours (with 2.5 hours of break), and 14 days of additional paid time off (RTT) per full year.
  • Transport allowance and meal allowance.
