A new opportunity has arisen at our Saint-Claude site, within our Industry BU, for the position of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Manager M/F.
- A major player in the industrial sector in the Jura region, FaiveleyTech Saint-Claude is an expert in engineering thermoplastic transformation. The site develops and manufactures high-performance global solutions for its partners in the mobility, energy, digital and robotics, and hygiene sectors.
YOUR MISSION
Reporting to the Operations Director, the QHSE Manager implements the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policy as defined by Top Management and ensures its proper application.
He/She contributes to reducing and controlling industrial risks within the company. In this role, he/she is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for employees and for the production site.
He/She proposes and implements approved improvement actions required to enhance Quality, Safety, and Environmental performance.
Your responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Lead the Quality system (monitoring KPIs, corrective actions, capability analysis)
- Manage a team of approximately 5 people (skills development, performance reviews, etc.)
- Develop and improve the quality system in collaboration with operational managers
- Conduct internal and supplier audits, and participate in customer audits
- Contribute to the achievement and maintenance of IATF, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certifications
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure that inspection procedures and related documentation are properly written and updated
- Manage the laboratory (compliance, maintenance, and requalification of measuring equipment)
- Lead the Safety system: develop a strong safety culture (processes, equipment, behaviours)
- Manage the company’s environmental approach
YOUR STRENGTHS
- A Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) in Quality Management or equivalent, combined with significant professional experience in a responsible position within an industrial environment.
- A strong knowledge of the automotive standard (IATF) is essential. Experience in the plastics industry would be a strong asset.
- You are proficient in problem-solving methodologies and have a good operational level of English.
- You rely on your analytical skills, rigor, decision-making abilities, and team spirit to successfully carry out your mission.
YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS
- Full-time permanent contract (CDI)
- Executive status (managerial position), based on a 216 working days per year agreement.
